He really has promoted that organization greatly, he has had a marvelous life after the presidency. His Carter Center has had a tremendous impact on the Guinea worm disease in Africa along with other organizations his center has worked with. It is close to being eradicated.

Incidences of Guinea worm disease have been reduced from an estimated 3.5 million in 1986 to 25 in 2016.
