Appearing on CBS Sunday Morning, journalist Bob Woodward described the turmoil and dysfunction in President Donald Trump’s White House, warning, “Let’s hope to God we don’t have a crisis.”

According to the CBS News website, Woodward explained, “People who work for him are worried … that he will sign things or give orders that threaten the national security or the financial security of the country, or of the world.”

He added, “You look at the operation of this White House and you have to say, ‘Let’s hope to God we don’t have a crisis.'”

The author of the forthcoming “Fear,” which takes a hard look at the Trump administration, said he interviewed over 100 people for his book, stating, “Multiple interviews with key witnesses. One person I interviewed nine times, and the transcripts of those conversations are 700 or 800 pages.”
