8. Do non-cops get to be "useful" rather than going to jail?

He killed a man and is getting a MAXIMUM sentence of a year. You say he has a family to support. If you ask me, he needs to support the family of the man he killed for the rest of his life. As a cop, he is supposed to enforce the law, not break it.
