7. So the sabotage of progressives continues. Sorry fellow DUers, that's the way this strikes me.

From my perspective, the DCCC has long been dominated by "establishment" Dems who have been very open to large corporate donations. As a result, corporate lobbyists have had an outsized influence over the general public on economic policy positions taken by elected Dems. Often, these positions have contributed to the decline of organized labor, wage stagnation, and general working class malaise.

Until the party as a whole sets an example of people oriented campaign finance, this dynamic will likely continue.

In the meantime, the only influence I have on this is a small one; but it's all I have available to me and so I use and will continue to use the power of the pocketbook (despite the fact that the playing field is vastly unbalanced). I donate only to candidates, not to the DCCC.

In my view, it is stuff like this that turns many, especially young, potential voters away from our party. In my view, it is self-defeating.
