The likely scenario for this is a visit to the SC, who will likely rule against voters. Even if, by some miracle, the court upholds the ruling (or punts on it, which is more likely), the Republicans will run out the clock so they hold the seats through 2022 at least. By that point they will have redrawn the districts again, starting the battle all over.
