12. For the most part, Marines in World War II

saw combat in the Pacific theater and had limited assignments in the European theater.
They weren't used in large scale assaults against the German Nazi's, being used heavily in the island combat of the Pacific.
That said, I can't imagine many retired or active duty Marines feeling anything but disgust for a member of the Marines who embraced Nazism and praised their beliefs and symbols.
An other than honorable discharge is the very least that should be done in this case.
