But my post didn't really have anything to do with that.

My point was that in order for someone to be fired for keeping a 'murderer' on the police force, there should probably some evidence that someone was actually murdered. And if a city should increase taxes to pay the 'dead guy's estate 10 Billion dollars", there should actually be a dead guy. Isn't that how the whole 'estate' thing works?

You make a good point too, but I think you made it in the wrong place.
