With any of your points. A person like DT (hubristic, narcissist) The “give a person enough rope” strategy will eventually pay off.

Having said that political calculations should not a part of this. DT has shredded the constitution and is violating the law in terms of:

Checks and Balance, defying Subpoenas and all request from Congress.

Emoluments, he is pumping millions into his pockets by golfing every weekend, having the Military, Foreign Heads of States and their staff and I have a felling this is just the tip of that iceberg.

Obstructing Justice, multiple issues of this are in the Mueller report.

Enforcement of the Law is not/should not be based on if it is popular or not. If Dems do not impeach / enforce the law the precedent that sets going forward will be disastrous and emboldened a future president as mortally corrupt as DT or worse (Don Jr?) to be even more lawless then DT is.
