who might be qualified enough to skim past Senate approval. Their last idea, a guy who hadn't prosecuted a jaywalking ticket, didn't fare too well even as an "acting" appointment.

They're going to want to run out the clock. After the election, they'll give up trying to block this because they think it will be irrelevant.

It won't be, win or lose.
