(if one can say that about a group that certainly includes mormons). they just miscalculated and assumed that what the fox viewing audience would swallow could be forced down the throats of the rest of us.
the lying shocks me. i'm old enough to think one's veracity is valuable. that it is indicative of the worth of the man.
from reagan/bush to bush/cheney americans have been subjected to lies but all those lies pale in the shadow of romney's lying.
i never watch fox news and so am not certain of the tone there but i am certain that they indulge their audience with lies.
the romney camp had no real choice but to adopt fox's methodology because romney was not the choice of the republican base. he has to get their votes. so romney has had to fight a two front war. a severely conservative candidate trying to convince the bubba boys that he is their guy and an enlightened moderate attempting to convince swing voters that he is whiter (i meant wealthier, oh sorry wiser) than obama.
neither romney or ryan have any respect for the rabble. they see themselves as much better beings, entitled to demand our suffering for their enrichment. if we want food for our work we're seen as leeches.
why should they care if we are lied to. its not like we matter.
