a criminal defense attorney I know most first time offenders don’t do time but this case is different. January 6, 2021 is a date we will never forget and is now a historical event. In my 59 years l have never seen anything like it. They stormed the Capitol, people died and were injured. I suspect there are plenty of federal judges who will show the public what befalls someone who attacks the Capitol police to takeover and disrupt the transition of power. Never in my lifetime did I think this ever would happen. Those charged I think are in for a very rude awakening.
