Climate changes will create even more migrants--if you can't grow anything, to eat, you'll be hungry. If you can't take anything out of the ground to sell, you have no economy. Economic policies subsidizing corn and the use of corn in ethanol gasoline (corn = food) create a crisis.

Temperature changes will make more areas uninhabitable. Just like our hunter gatherer ancestors did, people will follow food. People will migrate to the inhabitable areas. Same is true of those coastal folks in the South. Climate change drives stronger hurricanes which will drive migration further inland, eventually.
