My brother in law, who was always a gun nut, lives a couple of counties south, in a rural area. He was kind of an affable one, and one who I only fairly recently started talking to again, because he’s also a racist piece of shit. Anyway, told my husband this in a phone call.

Husband “so are you getting ready for the vaccine.”
BIL “No we don’t do that kind of shit around here. I’ve got guns
Husband “what you’re going to shoot the virus?”

This resulted in an acrimonious exchange where my husband almost got hung up on. Sounds like dear BIL drank the Trump koolaid. We’re just cutting him off again. His wife used the term “Sandn****r in another phone call, so the detente where they agree to keep their racist shit to themselves is obviously over.

It hurts my husband, but he wants nothing to do with that behavior. Fuck those people.
