I was astonished that they published an excerpt from Clinton Cash, by a writer who was known for his false hit pieces on the Clintons. That was not journalism, and it was totally irresponsible.

The Times still has some excellent opinion writers and reporters, but in my opinion they have become less relevant as a news source. Some of their choices for opinion pieces that present the conservative side are little more than Republican propagandists who twist events to make Republicans look good. Their headline writers for news articles often mislead, with an article not really supporting what is being reported.

I think the Washington Post is better, though they have some crazies too, like Hugh Hewitt. I don’t read anything he writes anymore because it is all Republican la la land.

I’m sure it’s difficult for daily papers to keep the articles coming out, and they have fewer stories now because Biden rarely tweets and he has hired competent people who are doing their jobs with little or no controversy. After Trump, they’re all addicted to the crisis du jour.
