7. That was my first hope.

She was one of the voices of reason on so many issues over the last couple of years. I wish she were my neighbor so that I could pick her brain on breaks from yard work. I’m currently flanked by a school administrator, an economics professor, a German expat political science professor and her husband the night time emergency room physician. Mayor Bottoms seems so nice and she’s so smart. Hopefully for the US she recharges and makes a move for national office. Actually I hope she does what’s right for her.
