5. Hurricane warnings scare me to death. Why? Because house insurance does not cover damage.

I was told by my insurance agent that there is no coverage for damage from any 'named storm'. It seems to me that the powers that make these decisions name about every storm that erupts in the tropics...or elsewhere. I don't know if there is coverage that you can buy but you can bet your boots it is too expensive.
Homeowners insurance is expensive in itself, read closely and you will find exceptions to so many events about which you thought you had coverage.
Good grief, I'm sick of all this baloney.

Hope you are all safe and have some kind of policy that covers damage in the event of any storms.

I'm not in a tornado area but if one comes my way, no coverage unless you buy an expensive policy. How do the poor folks in the vulnerable areas survive these disasters?
