(214 posts)So far, people are reacting to what is said to be an excerpt from the book "Peril", as is their prerogative. As soon as there's a confirmation of Gen Milley's actions in total, then we can start hanging the banners or gathering the pitchforks and torches. I'm fine with investigating TFG and putting him on trial if a solid case can be made. The fact that he was president shouldn't immunize him from prosecution. But first, lets make sure we have all of our proverbial ducks in a row to make sure that a technicality springs TFG from the consequences of his bad behavior.
Even LTC Vindman, who was quoted said, "If this is true, Gen Milley must resign". We shouldn't let the tsunami of lies that emanated from the WH during TFG's term and our desire for payback divert our attention from determining what the truth is.
