And good news about the debt ceiling.

Although it is basically all finance and economy, I still think that defaulting on debt would also be a huge national security risk. If I understand correctly, a default will mean a stock market crash, stoppage of all Social Security retirement checks, bread/food lines, homelessness beyond imagination, loss of countless jobs, exacerbated lack of healthcare, etc.

I see it as a global equivalent of nuclear war.

Because we have pols in DC who are this corrupt and sociopathic.

Or am I being too melodramatic?
