I'm not sure about any of the other places you mentioned, but abortion was illegal in Illinois until the Roe decision. I had to fly to New York myself to get a safe, legal abortion in September 1972. (Roe happened about 5 months later.) The clinic I used had so many out of state patients flying in that they actually ran a shuttle service to and from the major airports.

Nowadays, it's a different matter. Illinois has already become an abortion haven for people inI neighboring states who need an abortion, and we fixed our trigger laws so that if Roe falls, it will still be legal here.
