(5,376 posts)55. Advances like this would seem to make use of nuclear weapons inevitable.
Any country with small yield tactical nuclear weapons would resort to them if they were on the losing end of a conventional war, the possibility of escalation to a full blown nuclear exchange notwithstanding.
Human nature being what it is.
Please note, I am talking about losing a war, not a skirmish or incident.

The tritium has to be replaced about every 10 years in the warhead. Now that is just them bomb
