I'm not so sure it woulda passed if they hadn't "hidden" it in the primary election.... a primary that had no need for liberals to vote since Obama was already the candidate. It didn't win by a land slide. Had it been a regular election, seriously, it might have lost.

But of course NC just barely went red again. I don't get it. The current conservative legislation here sucks! The state has already taken 2 steps backwards. Every time NC has a real chance of breaking out of that Southern slump of red, the conservatives here freak and squash it somehow. NC is not the deep south, though for some unfathomable reason, the good-ol' boys want it to become Alabama!
