118. Sometimes family members or friends.....
Thu Oct 24, 2013, 07:52 PM
Oct 2013

think they are being kind by having treats on hand for my dog, but I just politely tell them that no, I'd prefer she not get any treats. I allowed a family member to give her a couple of doggies "Christmas cookies" that were red and green and she was sick as a dog (pun intended) for two days. She only had three little treats. I think the food coloring upset her stomach. Of course she chose to get sick on my brand new, light colored carpeting and the red color wouldn't come out until many cleanings.

I remember reading about a similar situation last year. darkangel218 Oct 2013 #1
