I'm afraid your contentions are correct. I don't know that a change of leadership would be a real boon at this point. The current leader has undoubtedly assembled a corps as slanted as she is. That would mean building a whole new organization - a daunting task.

I think the best we can hope for is to upset the spin of the opposition's top. IF we can induce enough wobble, we can have a chance at SOME kind of a leveled playing field - a field where our candidate has a chance at winning - a match-up where the opposition isn't the one in control of the scorecards.
