There was a thread here about a Yale basketball player suing because he was kicked out after being accused of rape and most of the people on it were in support of the player, not the accuser. There are many reasons why such a case would not be prosecuted, including the fact that a victim is dragged through the mud and might not want to go through that. I choose to believe victims first because I know how pervasive rape culture is on campuses and especially in sports.

So even so-called progressive fall into the trap.
