Isn't that stock and trade for a tin pot dictator who will has already practiced scapegoat du jour?
If we stopped calling this threat to humanity a "President", and used the correct term, then we would be clear on what he does and what we can expect.
I say that because it is clear that the oath he took before assuming office was not taken sincerely and his actions are contrary to its purpose and intent. As far as the Presidency goes, we have a titular head. That usually means someone who is merely beholden to other parties and concerns, (like Dubya) but it this case we have a titular head who is using the title for very nefarious and dangerous reasons. How do we honor that office when a demonstrably authoritarian dictator is in it?
I think calling Trump the President demeans the office to the point of dissolving its meaning and purpose, (which might, incidentally, be useful for vested interests). So, I only think of the position for him as titular with no significant value or meaning other than it has become a vehicle to destroy our democracy a quickly as possible. Imagine having a "President" who has that kind of contempt and disregard for the Constitution of the United States and more specifically, the Preamble.
How is that for cognitive dissonance? How many people honor this toxic person and can't see that?
