he was a rat and kept eyes on him. As a child and young adult in the 1920s and 30s my mom regarded Lindy as special like Americans Edison, Ford, etc. I'm rather glad she didn't hear of Lindbergh's fascism and creepiness which has come out more in the last 15 years.
