Glad you're here! Yeah, that's a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaallly choice one, that rove video. And there's david gregory just dancing along and having a great time - with the guy who committed TREASON by outing an undercover CIA agent during wartime.

There was a time when david gregory was actually worth something. He was White House correspondent for NBC News and he did a masterful job trying to hold scott mcclellan's feet to the fire over dubya's sketchy Texas Air National Guard "service." He really grilled the guy. Wouldn't let it go. Asked all kinds of probing questions. Dominated much of this one White House news conference in early 2004. I remember how we here at DU were so thrilled - SOMEBODY was finally drilling down into this scandal with the Resident-in-Chief.

And then, after that, nothing. I think it was not too long after that - when this video came to light of some Washington black-tie affair, and there he is dancing and prancing and partying it up with the guy from "Whose Line is it Anyway" and good ol' "m-c rove."

After that, david gregory became utterly worthless. We didn't see that other guy from the news conference - any longer. And of course shortly thereafter he got "Meet the Press," and I guess you can't do that without selling your soul and becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary.
