here, I do believe we are granting consent when we vote for a candidate that does not truly represent our values. It's like saying, ok, I don't agree with you on much, there's a few things I agree with (hoping for crumbs), but hey, it's my party & you are the nominee, so...

I'm hoping this perfect storm that seems to be brewing wakes people up to the fact that we are not being represented. Isn't it time we demand our gov't represent and reflect our values and hopes for the future? If WE can put that kind of intention and focus into practice, perhaps we will see a change. We aren't ever going to get it with the corporate nominees.
