Growing up in a red, RED part of NYS I had to deal with them every day. Now that I'm retired and have a lot of time on my hands I see them now and then in my travels. We talk, sometimes about politics, and to be truthful they're not all enamored with the Orange Hemorrhoid in the White House. These are more the old, sometimes reasonable republicans we used to have when Congress could actually work in a bipartisan manner for the good of the country (like I said, I'm old!). There are Trumpanzees in that number as well, and I just avoid them. They're usually the more........how shall I say it..........cerebrally challenged republicans, and I couldn't bear them back in the old days either.
As a percentage......I'd say somewhere around 80% are complete and total assholes. So I don't hate them all, but I don't trust a single one.
