2. Reality versus bluster

I had 2 courses in Political Thought, and Federalist No. 10 and 34 I think it was, were briefly covered in passing. Never realized how much contemporaneous historical record existed, and really, in the age before the internet, it was esoteric, warehoused information studied only here or there.

All our vulnerabilities are being tested, and the only things on our side are the Constitution, our House majority, and our presidential candidates. The Fourth Estate, the press, blows this way and that way and is divided itself, and is polluted with partisan political advertising. I think we have to stop hiding behind the gentlemanly rule of law and take it to them, think outside the box, pull a few legal maneuvers and tricks. Glad to see Joe Biden fighting mad today, there's no denying we're in a tussle.

Trump's current bluster, and his lawyers, must be exposed for all to see. Let the Senate do what it wants. But let them go on record for all to see.
