...and I also wonder what the retail grocery industry has to say about it.

I recall reading just how much many grocery chains rely on SNAP profit-wise since it is substantial. I would imagine their lobbyists are not going to be liking the losses.

So, this is a reckless move with three negative impacts: recipients, farmers, food chains. Another great deal from the Con. He is on a streak of destruction before the end.
