That was 6 years ago.Since then Church has created a company to work on this. Allegedly to make dogs live longer but I don’t think his real concern is dogs.

In the eighties a friend of mine, a cancer researcher at UCLA, told me he thought aging might come from cosmic radiation hitting and damaging our DNA, which he thought would mean we could nebver cure it, or it might be part of our dna, a built in plan to die. Animals which don’t die can’t evolve. If that were the case he thought we would find a way to fix it. He calculated that based on accident and murder rates in Los Angeles back then we could expect to live about 800 years. It amused him that it was like the biblical span.
