the Capitol cops had been armed, or the National Guard had actually arrived on time, it could very well have been a debacle. Alternatively, if the cops hadn't managed to delay the mob as long as they did, who knows what could have happened to the elected politicians and officials inside the capitol. I think it's a miracle it ended with so few casualties considering the numbers involved and the violence that occurred.
