Many in the South, many country music fans are NOT bigots & dimwits.
For every Hank Williams Jr. talking about Obama is a Muslim, there's people like the Remington Riders who look at what good Obama has done & are crediting him for it.

There's a sickness in the South no doubt about it but we must continue to reach out to these places so that people like the Remington Riders can show us that Southerners don't all carry that sickness.
If the bigots from the South didn't split off from the Democratic Party after 1964, the Second Bill of Rights would have been law by now.
This country would have been much further ahead if not for that.

Some Southerners recognize their working class roots & feel that they & everybody should get a fairer shot in this world.
And yes Obama needs to legalize marijuana.
Unlike Clinton, he smoked it, inhaled it, & enjoyed it.
You wanna talk about freedoms? Then free the weed!
And no I don't even smoke. Just because I won't use it doesn't mean I want to keep others from using it.

I long for the day when America puts aside its bigotry so solidarity of the poor will be had once again.
We have been divided for too long.
