(29,981 posts)I, too, especially love his early films, including his 1st, "What's Up Tiger Lily"
as well as Take the Money & Run & the other early ones.
My favorite Woody Allen movies are Sleeper and Play It Again Sam.
Annie hall was just OK, imo.
Regarding his relationship with his adopted daughter, Soon Yi Previn, it began when she was 19, so she wasn't a "child" ..She was an adult and as such, could make her own choices.
As far as Mia Farrow's allegations that Woody sexually assaulted his 7-year-old daughter, the local police asked the Child Sexual Abuse Clinic of Yale-New Haven to investigate.
The team consisted of two social workers, a nurse and Dr. John M. Levanthal, a pediatrician.
"Citing inconsistencies in Dylan's account, Levanthal testified by deposition that, in the Yale-New Haven team's view, Dylan may have been coached by Farrow, or may have been emotionally disturbed when she made the allegation, or a combination of the two."
