and I always said at least I was smart enough not to have kids with him so I wouldn't have to stay in touch. I was divorced for 5 years before I remarried and last November I separated from my husband of 32 years. I did have two boys with him and now neither one of them will speak to me.

I had to look up the day of my first marriage to give it to my attorney. I knew it was September something! And I expect I'll be a mess when the May anniversary of what would have been 33 years rolls around. That was a really tough decision, but one I should have made years ago.

Remembering loss is an emotionally difficult thing to do.
