Never know what might turn up.

I was pretty shocked to learn my heritage went all the way back to really the founding of America. I started doing genealogy research before the internet was really a thing, looking at microfilm at the Massachusetts Archives in Boston looking up census, birth, death and immigration records. Was pretty slow going. But with the advent of the internet the research is so much easier.
