...and working at the VA doesn't help. When I tell them not only am I pro-gun control, pro-choice, and a registered Democrat, they kinda flip out. But one guy, and probably one of the coolest dudes at the hospital, asked me, "You were in the military? What, the Coast Guard?" I lost my shit, and damn near spit green tea all over everyone. We've been buds ever since.
