Prime Minister of Canada Pierre Trudeau was asked by a reporter of an insulting line thrown at him by President Richard Nixon. Nixon apparently called him an asshole.

Trudeau responded with something like: I've been called worse things by better people.

I love that comeback, there's no recovery from it.
