It sure is difficult when you don't have anyone that will come over. That is the problem here as well. I haven't had to take any of them to the vet in almost 3 years now *knock on wood*.
I won't be adopting any more kittens/cats either.
I must be realistic!

Me too ... but I grew up around 'em ... Siamese cats 'talking' is the sound of 'home' :)

If your cat is eating a lot and losing weight, check the thyroid. Common problem among older cats.
