You did good and you are so right that the things you do for people matter more than you know. A wonderful local columnist for the Boston Globe, the late Donald Murray, once wrote, “you have more friends than you know.” That simple statement has reassured me and encouraged me more than once. The corollary is (really the same statement viewed from the other side of the fence)is “you do more good for people than you know.”
