We just had 4 baby hawks grow up on our old street. We just moved a few blocks away about a week ago. The hawks are now grown, but they hang out together and hunt together. They mostly get doves and pigeons from what I saw. They went after my adult son when he walked to the store one day. They never bothered me, but I was always walking big dogs. The hawks were constantly harassed by Mocking Birds though. Those little buggers are tough! There's lots of bird involved harassment in south Florida, but I do love watching them.
