their ability to feel and express that through the notes of the guitar. I think there is a difference from playing music with just mental thoughts, to pulling it up from the depths of your soul. Like meditation, not everyone can reach that deep state. Jim Hendrix, Stevie Ray, Joe Bonamassa, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, and many others here and passed are able to pull it up from from the toes.
