I think I'm going to try to stay in out patient therapy right up until the bad knee is replaced. If I can get in better shape, I should heal up even faster after that surgery.

Walking would be my first choice for getting in shape, but the bad knee is not going to allow for that. The standing exercises are stressing it too, so I need to find some other ways to exercise both legs without adding to the stress on that knee.

But the new knee is healing much faster than I expected. The incision is healing beautifully and I think the scar will be minimal. It definitely is not hurting all that much, what I feel is mostly the swelling and stiffness when I sit too much.
