Garlic is a herb which belongs to lily family. Although garlic powder (mix with salt) considered as spice. All parts of a garlic plant like bulb, root, leaf and flowers have herbal quality and used as medicine for several remedies.Apr 4, 2018

In the winter I put shelves in front of windows and grow basil, parsley, rosemary and thyme in pots.

Cardamom is actually a seed ... so it's a spice, but not technically a(n) herb :)
