Of course I see nothing wrong with critters in the house, any critters actually.

In her younger days my mother would say, "I like dogs 'in their place' - outside." Did she ever do a flip on that. On the other hand she never minded cats inside.
Speaking of, I've never understood the "I'm a cat person" or "I'm a dog person." Just proves, at least to me, you don't know or understand the other species well enough.
