The truck driver realized it wasn't her missing cat only after seeing it in-person, but decided to take it anyway since no other owner came forward at the time and it wasn't microchipped.

Then the owner finally saw the online picture of her missing cat, contacting the person who posted it and later the truck driver. Regular updates of the cat's travels were provided until it could be returned.
