Talking to him is like walking on a mine field, simple question about nothing can set him off.

I am in my daughters home for a few days while visiting mom at senior home. I hadn't seen her in awhile because of covid and we all are vaccinated now. My grand daughters baby came late or daughter would be here. I am leaving to see my new great grandchild today.

So just one evening alone in house, I think daughter was worried he might say something stupid.

He has never been to my house out of state, she travels alone to visit friends and family because no one likes him. I keep hoping she will wake up.

And by the way my daughter has good paying job job, she rents place in her name only pays all bills. He has managed to let her support him last few years.
