5. We keep the birdbath filled. Pretty much anyone can reach it but the wild bunnies, & they seem fine

Our gardener gave us incentive to do this by saying it would save lots of money over time, because raccoons and other critters wouldn’t need to chew down into the garden’s irrigation lines in search of water.

The guy who turned on the hose for the bobcat did a kind thing, indeed.
