Because the success of La La Land and In the Heights (despite COVID-19) means that people might want to see musicals again.

Because Steven Spielberg has made his bones in Hollywood and his films have made $10 BILLION, without counting West Side Story or factoring in 8nflation. Steven gets what Steven wants.
